Gripping article. Such compassion of a community rescues, organizations and volunteers banding together to save lives and honor a man who loved them so.

Mile 26 2011 Calendars
Attention those of you who graciously purchased a NOAWS Mile 26 Calandar:
I was informed by a NOAWS representative recently that there are two errors with the 2011 calendar. The month of June was printed with 31 days and secondly, August 1st begins on a Monday, not a Sunday, therefore the entire month of August will be one day behind. NOAWS sadly regrets these errors and explained that they are a limited group of volunteers trying to make the lives of abused and abandoned pets better and hope that we can accept their apology. Personally, I think they did a fantastic job with the calendar and continue to do great things for the lives of the animals that come into their care . |
