Greetings from Woodstock

Hello everybody, my name is Bill I live in Woodstock, ON and have recently acquired another furry varmint a (Golden Retriever) after recently losing the best friends I ever had 2 border Collies " Bonnie and Clyde". Clyde had died of old age at 13 years old and Bonnie left the following year, they will always be missed and never forgotten, nor could I ever replace the dynamic duo, but the new pup is as close as it could get, he's a good boy !

Looking forward to conversing with you's all in the future !

Bill

Welcome to the Board BobC. ~ is your screen name wistful "I'd rather be fishin'" thinking?

Congrats on your new varmint ~ NO PIX??????? That's pretty cruel and unusual punishment for ppl you just met don'tcha think?

Bonnie and Clyde sound like they were wonderful life companions and we would love to see pix of them as well. You pay have noticed that we have a section for our critters who have passed ~ feel free to introduce them there if that feels right.

Hey a fellow Woodstockonian! Well I have only been here for one year and I am a cat lover, but appreciate all animals, wild and domesticated. Sorry about your pet, and the best of luck with your new best friend!

Newbie too!

I just signed up today as well as I have an issue with an abused cat.
I have an American Shorthair who will be 3 in July. She is a wonderful cat, friendly, playful, but very aloof and does not like to be picked up, unless she is upside down and you pay attention to her. She hates being near your face, and this, to me is unusual, but I put it to the bread. I used to have tabbies who are the most friendly of cats.

I have posted about the abused cat, so be my guest and read the post. I would love to hear from other animal lovers and their stories with this issue.

Thanks again.

Hi Bill,,

Welcome to the forum!! *waving*

I remember Bob Caygeon as a kid when I went camping there with my family and saw the paintings on the rocks! Beautiful place.
