Saying Hello (with a question) (daschund)

Hello folks, i recently stumbled across this forum and am glad I did. Already been searching through the threads for great information.

We have a 4 year old male dachshund (smooth - standard). full of his great "dachshund" personality and we love the little guy. This is my second dachshund as we had one when we were living in Thailand. He passed away when he was 13 years old.

Appreciate if someone could help me with a query I have. As of late, I have noticed that Tissue has a little hump towards his lower back. Understanding that this breed are known to have back problems, I am very concerned. He has not shown any signs of discomfort (crying, etc) but I certainly would like to his be looked at by the vet. That is were my issue is.

We have been going to a local vet and I am quite unsatisfied with the way they handle things. We are based in Richmond Hill, Ontario and wondering if anyone can recommend a good vet (someone with experience with dachshund back issues). I dont mind driving to someone reputable as long as our guy gets the proper diagnosis done. Appreciate any recommendations (locals) can provide to help us.

Thank you.
Kaycar

Sent you a "visitor" message - I don't post on board any longer, but am posting in this fashion because not sure you will see the visitor message - have replied to another person this way as well.
