VERY itchy!
Has anyone noticed that their dog's are really itching? All my guys are itching like crazy. We have bathed them and checked for fleas and changes on the skin and there is nothing. We even furminatored them! Their coats are beautiful, they are not dry.
I'm thinking that it might be a seasonal thing. Not sure.

We had a bad seasonal allergy last year and never did pinpoint what caused the itchiness. Maybe some kind of late summer pollen? This year has been a tad drier and the dogs' allergies aren't quite so bad.
Have you tried Benadryl to see if it helps?

We're in Vancouver too Totallyhip and my girl Halo scratches alot. We've always been convinced it's a season allergy thing with her. She has food allergies, but they seem under control. Good luck to you.

Interesting. Gryph & Mollie have been itching more this year than last as well. Gave them bathes last weekend before putting their Advantage drops on and there was not a flea to be had in the tub.
So Benadryl may work Hazel? Would this be just the liquid form and if so, how much would you give them?

We use the 25 mg kapgels. Is the liquid formulated for children? If so, check it carefully--many kids' meds have xylitol in it cuz it tastes good, but the stuff can be lethal to dogs.
