She sure is a pretty girl! Sending for a quick recovery from her spay!

As for calming her down...well.... In our experience, age has a lot more to do with it...and it's different for each dog. Our lab never grew up and he lived till 15. Our Springer was mature from day 1 but had her moments. And our setters all suddenly transform from hellions to couch potatoes at about age 3...except for Brier, who is now 4 and still at his '6-month-old-puppy-gotta-eat-anything-paper' stage.

Sadie is just overjoyed to be with you!

She's still rambunctious at 3. Guess she loves the attention she is getting from you now. She is a very beautiful gal. I would think once she is used to being in a stable home and knows her new people love her she will settle. Good luck with the spay.

What a lucky girl to have found you.

What was her story, how did your end up with her.

She is so beautiful.

Good luck on Friday (although you won't need it).

I agree she is overjoyed and letting you know it the only way she knows how I am sure she will settle down a bit.

I started looking for a GSD after mine passed away in Oct ,I put an add on craig list and this lady called me and she needed to get rid of the dog the dogs brother passed away with whip worms and Sadie would just howl and cry and the lady felt bad for the dog ,my hubby went to pick her up and said the lady had alot of small dogs all running around and was so glad to get her out of the sisuation she was in and we could not be any happier ,at first I told her we was going to look for something else and we keep talking thru email and our family talked about it and she needed a home bad she stayed outside and the neighboor man tried to poision her ,so we took her in she was full of fleas and so dirty we gave her 3 baths ,she is so loving and full of engery we love her so much ,we feel like this was meant for us God sent the GSD,to us ,she is 4 and really never hardly was in the house but she is house trained now it took 3 days she is smart but she loves the couch lol so we are working on that ,and she is on meds for whip worm now just hope and pray everything will be ok for Sadie

Thank you for taking her in and giving your love to her.

I am sure that now she is being taken care of properly she will do fine.
