red bumps on my dog

my mom took my dog to the park the other day and now she has large red bumps on her bellly and chest now...what could cause them...she has a vet appt tomorrow

Maybe she is allergic to some type of weed or grass, or the park was sprayed with some chemical, if a city park, you should be able to contact the city and check if they did use some kind of ground treatment like a fall weed and feed and with what.

Not sure where you are placed on the planet but could they be an insect bite ? Bees, spiders ? They can all leave large red mounds and if your puppy is allergic to the insect toxin, a "normal" bite would cause a distorted looking result.
