golden retrievers

Hi there i am currently looking for a golden retriever. Personally i would like to adopt cause there are just to many dogs out there that need homes which is very sad. If anyone knows of any in the Calgary area that would be great or any puppies or reputable breeders in the area.

PS: i have had golden retrivers all my life.

have you checked www.petfinder.com ? They list most of the shelters/SPCA's & rescues. You can search by breed for your area. Good luck ! But when you adopt ~ we absolutely NEED pix and an introduction !

Oh...keep us posted on your search, I too live in Calgary and have a golden who's 10 months old, I'd love to meet up when you do find one. I meet almost weekly with other goldens and their owners. I understand your wanting to have another one if you've had one before..

Calgary has tones of resources and alot of resuced dogs from the states and other places are brought to Calgary for adoption. Good luck! Try dogster.com too!
