We had a red dob!! His name was Leo.

How do you find your dobes temperment? Kohl is still so hyper and he is 2 now. I heard that they don't calm down till they are five! Not that I want him to calm down because he is adorable!

Mine had quite a bit of energy too, but not too bad, she was a nightmare when we adopted her! LOL She's gotten much better, lots of training and exercise!!!!

Here's a nice shot of her hunting in the feild, sorry about the size...

My dobies calmed down around 3. Then you couldn't get them excited. I like lazy dogs, so it worked out well.

Thanks Roxy, I do, I am proud of her and proud that I adopted her, she had a hard life before finding freedom! As for energy she still has lots but isn't mental, I like a dog that has some pep to them as I like walking, running etc, the nice thing about her is she will chill but is always up for a romp at the beach.

Thanks chico2! She was a real find... Many people ask me what breeder I bought her from and I giggle and tell them the local pound! Most people don't beleive me!!! I also love when people give me crap for cropping her ears and my response is always, "she was like that when I adopted her". Shuts people up! LOL

I adore her and enjoy her goofy antics daily, she's a real ham!!!! They are a pretty fun breed.
