housebreaking pointers please
hello!
I was wondering if anyone could could give me a few pointers on housebreaking? My puppy is border collie, sheltie and a little bit of shepard mixed. As well, I do have a cage for him, which he goes to sleep quite well in the evening but when he wakes up in the middle of night he of course goes outside to pee and then when he comes in he howls when I put him back in, to the point where I have to take him to bed with me. Help! Thanking you in advance, Nathalie and rex |

probably a little late to reply to this now but.. if you give him his way... by taking him to bed with you when he howls he is always going to keep doing it. what we do is ignore him put a sheet over his crate and go back to bed... by bring him to bed with you he is learning that if he howls he will get your attention and get out of the crate
