oh soooo cute, your little babies are adorable, oh poor puppies, so cold, burrr. it has just gotten cold here and it is getting down to 30 degrees farenheit and i am freezing to death (i am too soft, but havent lived anywhere this cold in years) .
so i was wondering earlier watching charlie at the park in the frost if she was ok in that cold, i know she is tough (we lived in light snow when she was a pup) but i dont want her to freeze her fanny or anything now she is alot older, but obviously that wont happen any time soon so i will let her sit on the frost then, if your dogs live in that snow then i am sure a GSD can live here.
and i think lizzy is the smart one, i would be asking the same question and would have probably bitten you on the leg for the sheer suggestion of it do they eat the snow????

Gee, Amaruq that's pretty sad. For once I'm glad to be in Quebec.

Melanie, 30F is considered a heat wave here.

Here is my dog in the snow this winter...and YES, they do eat it! My dog gobbles it up and has the attitude "And YOU can't stop me!"

Oh, I remember those days. Originally from the prison capital of Canada, lovely Kingston, ON. I remember snowy days like that. That's part of the reason I left!

I love watching poochies play in snow that deep though. Looks like your dog is enjoying things just fine LR. Usually Vancouver gets at least one good snowfall every year, but it's gone the next day. Hope I get a chance to play with Bob in it this year.

What am I thinking? Why am I thinking winter stuff when it's almost 20C outside and sunny.

I need a drink...

Yes, my Chloe loves the snow. It was warm that day, but I do have boots and coat for her, which she just loves (yeah right!) See how thrilled she looks?

Hmm, on my PC the picture of Chloe looks like a little red x. My computer's been acting weird for the last two days. I was frigging around with my Norton firewall software. I'm thinking that program is more of a pain than it's worth.

hey chico, yes we have snow on the south side. but it falls thick only up in the mountains (ski fields) and a few extrememly cold places like around canberra, but it never falls thick except on mountains, it did snow where i lived as a child but i havent lived anywhere that cold since, and it is currently 30F and i have turned into a grumpy old bear, i cannot stand the cold, it goes to my bones. in my opinion, you are all totally crazy and should move, i hope you have good jackets like cloe...we moved from a tropical area up north 1 year ago so it will take me 50 to adapt, i think .
cloe should be called santas little helper, she looks like a little elf in that number, what a spunky girl
and little lizzy, does she ever disapear in all that white stuff? she looks like she will be swallowed up by it any moment
