Barking

I have a 7 month old Coonhound that barks at other dogs at the dog park or on the street. She never use to bark at other dogs till about 2 months ago. Shes been to the vet and nothing is wrong with her. I know coonhound "bawl", but this is a constint thing. Why does she do this? It usually lasts 30 mins at a time.

it is quite possible that she is trying to engage the other dogs in play..

My bluetick coonhound bawls and bays at all the dogs at the dog park whenever we go, pretty much the entire time we're there. I think its just his way of engaging the other dogs. Like aslan said, trying to get them to play.
