Woohoo, think we found a winning combination!

Don't wanna jinx it... but... I think we finally hit on a good combination of food for Tommy!

We're still on the Natural Balance venison and brown rice formula with Prozyme added once a day, but lately he's been less than enthusiastic about eating. He's not been as bad as when he was sick all the time, he eats, he just seems to only go for it when he's really hungry, not really excited. I didn't want to switch him off it since he's doing well though, so I picked up a bag of Solid Gold Just a Wee Bit. He LOVES it! We've been mixing them together, and sometimes he'll eat both and sometimes he just wants one or the other... but for the first time in about 5 months he's actually eating breakfast, lunch and dinner! Willingly, voluntarily, without us coaxing him at all, he just wanders over to his kong or his bowl and EATS. Yay!! .

We've actually noticed his coat getting a bit better too... glossier, softer, generally just better looking. How long does it take to see that kind of effect from food? He's only been getting the Solid Gold for a week and a half or so, maybe two weeks... would you actually notice anything that soon? I don't know if it's the foods, the fact that he's getting healthier and healthier every day, the weather, the arrangement of the planets, whatever... but hey, something's FINALLY going right !

That is the best thing I have read on this forum in ages. I hope that Tommy continues on this path. It has been such a long hard road for this little guy. A lifetime of good health and happiness sent to you Tommy
