Avagirl

Thought I would share a photo of Ava and her kitty sibling that I received yesterday . She's doing super well and I was told that she started herding...herding her mom right to the fridge for snacks. Looks like she picked up some good habits from Penny after all .

I'm so happy for her, she couldn't be with a better family but, I miss her something terrible .

Wow!! Amazing isn't it that Ava is doing so well with a kitty! I swore when I opened it the cat looks exactly like Naddy from the back. Great snap!!!

I am so glad she is doing well, I know it was horribly hard for you to say goodbye to her.

Wonderful pic of her and her kitty sibling.

What a sweetie! And so nice that you get updates! Ava herds her mom over to the fridge? I need a dog that herds me away!

That's so sweet. I wish Luke and Hailie would be friends, but nope, even after a year it's pretty clear it will never happen. Was she a rescue you found a home for? If so, great job!

Jenn, Ava was originally a rescue adopted from an SPCA by another member here. Due to tragic circumstances, we offered to foster then adopted her. So she was our dog that I had to re-home. It's sort of long http://www.pets.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=70023

I just went back and read the thread you posted on how you came to rehome Ava - what a terribly tough decision to have to make :/ It's certainly wonderful to see Ava is doing well though and looks quite happy.

Awww, what a sweet pic of Ava snuggling with the kitty.

Seeing her so content like that must help to ease the pain of rehoming her.
