Place to swim - Montreal area.

A co-worker is looking for a place where she can bring her Labratdor to swim. She lives on the south shore of Montreal but is willing to drive to Vermont, the Laurentians, up north etc..

Anyone?

I aswell am looking for an off leash area that is safe and I will not get harrassed for my dog. If anyone knows of any place to go for a wonderful nature walk - I would appreciate it.

Thanks Melinda and Helen - I will google. Since I have 3 days off and NOT planning on doing any transport this weekend, I would love to just enjoy what I can with my dogs. Just us.

highway #2, cornwall Ontario roughly 4 miles west of Power dam drive. left side of road, entrance fee is free, its a govt beach that was closed down and the lakeview neighbourhood took over and looks after it, dogs are welcomed (not sure if there are washroom facilities anymore though) our k-9 unit can often be seen with the dogs there enjoying a swim, Brina loves it.

I go by Cornwall almost every weekend. I always have Maddox, Julia and Spike (my foster) with me. I would love to see them just have a ball. Thanks and I am going for sure!
