Red face Doggie Urine Stains

On the carpet. Does anyone know of a home-made cleaning solution? Commercial ones aren't working.

Urine (Doggie) stains or odor or both?

Peroxide works well just make sure the solution does not damage colors.
Spraying (soaking) area with peroxide then putting 5 -6 layers of folded white paper towels on area - apply light pressure ( or step on it - shoes adivsed unless you want damp toes) an absorb the urine and the peroxide into the paper towel - toss paper towel.
I usually do this twice and it will remove even old stains.

Good idears but it does depend on whats in the urine...whether its a lot of hormones or not! wink wink

Ya need to counteract the acidity level with another acid that is stronger
ie lemon juice AFTER like you said patting dry the excess.

Make sure the pee didn't go all the way to the underpad or floor, peel it back to see and clean those areas too!

Anyway waiting to hear sex and fixed or not.

Talking What does Martha Stewart say about removing PEE?

Good Morning world it is 3AM in the great state of Michigan-frost on the grass and as I got up this morning I found I had 3 dogs and two cats in bed with me-The Mrs Was sleeping on the couch. She didn't want to fight the fur crew for a place in the Master bed. LOL
I was just wondering if Martha Stewart had ever done a TV show on Removing Pee? Somehow I can't see her explaining how to dilute then remove dog urine from her white carpet.
I'm not sure why I find that interesting other than she seems to do a lot of shows on how to use simple things like chicken wire to make wall hangings and such that I am sure are never seen in her multi million dollar homes. She also says she loves animals and has dogs and cats in her houses (note multiple houses). I would love to see the Domestic Diva graciously picking up a puppy poo or explaining to the American and Canadian public how to remove cat pee from carpets just before the Queen of England arrives.
I know I am being petty but I have not had coffee and she is one of my favorite targets when I am feeling "pithy".
Have a great Day all.

Good idea Woodbyter! I would LOVE to have Martha demonstrate the best way to get cat puke off a carpet, but somehow I can't picture her on her knees doing this. I'm sure she delegates her minions to remove objectionable material like that.

As we all know, even if there is only one tiny mat in your whole house, your cat will go THERE to puke!

Personally, I'm going to laugh when she's showing the other inmates how to get stains off the cement floor on her 8X10. "I know it's not pleasant ladies, but when all you've got is a toothbrush you have to scrub and scrub."

Well, her line that I saw in the store had 180 count

Anyone ever see the spoof that MadTV did of Martha in OZ. You'd have to know the HBO show OZ to get the skit, but it was incredibly funny. She was chatting it up with some other inmates in the prison, when someone made a nasty comment to her. She grabbed the guy by the neck and took a cheese grater to his face. It went on after that, but that was the funniest part.

Oh, and by the by, I haven't a clue what to do with urine stains either. My Bob hasn't peed in our place yet. Only on my friends curtain when her male dog tried to hump him.

the only thing i have ever found to remove pee stains esp the really old ones is the commercial dry carpet cleaning process, they use steam cleaning process, the only company i know is electrodry but i dont know if that company is over there. the wet carpet cleaning process is not good. i have tried everything from witch doctors, voodoo, actually listening to my mother (wont try that again) elbow grease, salt and cans of carpet cleaner and i have yet to find a natural solution other than having dark carpets

Use Vinegar, this will not only get the stain out it will take out the odor so the dog wont go back to that spot and do his thing again..........
