Lost Cat - Black and White - Markham

Our little Nikki is missing. She is 2 years old and black and white (black on her back and white on her chin and belly and front legs). She was last seen November 11th near Kennedy and Major Mackenzie. She weighs about 12 pounds and has medium-short hair. She is not wearing a collar but has a microchip.
Please call us if you see her or rescue her. 905 887 8492

Sorry to hear about your kitty. Was she inside only kitty that accidentally got out? If so, she is probably not far and is too scared to come out during the day. Best time to look for her is early morning/late evening when it is very quiet outside. Take with you some treats so you can shake the bag to encourage her to come out of hiding. Try puting a box with some of her things and your worn clothing in it and check on it through out the night. She may find that a safe place to hide.

Good luck and keep us posted. It may help to post a picture of your kitty.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I did try to post a picture but couldn't get it small enough to fit on this site, I've posted it in other places though. I'll keep you posted...Nikki is an indoor cat that was always really wanting to get outside and she found her opportunity and hopefully she is just out on an adventure and will be back soon! We miss her so much!

I would leave out Tuna or salman. They both have a strong odor. I would also leave something that has your smell on it. You can also leave her litter out.

Have you contacted the SPCA? Talk to neighbours, put up posters, put a ad with picture in your newspaper.

I hope you find her.
