There's a really excellent Canadian website called Doggone Safe that has tons of info on dog bite prevention. Should be a must-read for all parents, whether they have dogs or not.

People are so quick to blame the dogs. I'd never leave Scruffy alone with a child. You never know what a kid is going to do and dogs will defend themselves.

Very unfortunate. Simba has never shown aggression to children or babies but he is never ever left near the baby alone.
