sneezing dog with some genital issues also

my 3 yr old pit/blue heeler mix has been sneezing here and there for the past week his nose is a little runny but other than that he acts fine. any suggestions? is Colloidal Silver something i could use to help him? also ive noticed that sometimes he will have swelling at the base of his penis, it kinda looks like another set of testicles. Also, sometimes his penis will swell from the normal size of say, a hotdog, to like a sausage link around and some of it will hang out the top of his prepuce and it looks purple and bumpy.. it only stays the way for maybe 5 minutes at the max then everythings back to normal. he pee's fine and dosen't act like the swelling hurts him. im just worried about him, should i try to get him to the vet? they really overcharge around here and barely do anything for the animal...

You need to have the sneezing and runny nose evaluated. Sneezing and runny nose can signal the onset of something serious. it's just allergies. The vet will be able to recommend treatment, too.

The rest of it actually sounds pretty normal for a male dog. Is he intact? If it really concerns you, you can always ask the vet about it when you get the nose issue looked at.

I would not use the colloidal silver without talking to a vet about it first.

yes, he's intact (im assuming you meant not fixed lol) but alright i hope its allergies too! i'll have to schedule an appointment for him asap. thanks for the advice
