New to the board, and puppy ownership.

Hi all, Marty here. I'm a 25 year old from Coquitlam B.C. Canada. To tell you all a little bit about us; I'm a first time puppy owner (although I've had dogs most of my life. Both adult rescues). My dog Bentley is a Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle who was born in June '06 that I kinda rescued. He was bought from a byb and then when the buyer couldn't keep him due to allergies they tried to return him. Since he hadn't had his shots yet the breeder didnt want to bring him into the house with the other dogs. I had been looking for a dog either a Beagle or a JRT and someone I know who knew the breeder told me about his situation so I jumped at the chanced to help the people and the dog out.

In the months I've had him he has quickly become my best friend. So being new to the puppy game I'd join a forum to try to learn some tricks from others with dogs/puppies. So this is my first post. I hope to hear from most of you with your helpful comments about how to deal with this little terrorist that I've falllen head over heels in love with!

Welcome to the forum, your pup is adorable I love his markings and his uncle is quite handsome too. I have never had a pup myself, always adopted adult dogs but I did have a foster once that was like having a pup in a 80 lb body we managed tho and he learned all of his manners

Lots of folks here have pups so I am sure you will get loads of good advise.
