Question dry skin on ears

Hello all. I'm not sure if this is considered a question, or more less a confirmation. But any help would be appreciated.
I noticed today, after doing my normal "ear check"....that ruby has some dry flakyness on her ear flaps (dach..so long ear flappers...lol).
its not red or irritated, just white flaky bits. Its not what I'd say is really bad, but I can imagine its not comfortable..and I've noticed she has rubbed her head on the carpet quite a bit.

We had a episode of "yeasty" ears a month back. Some white vinegar, and water soulution cleared that right up. NO mites, no redness or irritation. just the flakyness.
She has a TINY bit of flakyness on her back...but I honestly think that is left over shampoo residue that didnt get rinsed off well enough. (sometimes I miss a tiny bit.

I'm thinking., some light coconut oil, or maybe grapeseed oil would remedy this.
Anyone have experience in this department?

It dosent seem to really be bothering her...I think it bothers ME more than it does her.
Any help would be great. and if this is a repeat question..SORRY .

Does she have dry flaky skin anywhere else or just the ears? Usually the back is the first place I've found they get dry skin.

Well, I thought she had some on her back...but I got to looking at it a bit closer and it is shampoo I didnt rinse well enough. The stuff on her ears, is definatly dry skin. Its not bad...but..worrisome to me. she's kinda comprimised with her kidney diab. so I try to keep a leg up on stuff BEFORE it gets bad.

Thank you petlover. I will ask the vet at her next checkup. I massaged some oil into it...she just looked at me like "ewww mom , get it off" and then proceeded to rub it all over my carpet. But..its a little LESS flaky today. so...maybe it'll do her some good. Also noticed she has a few teeny tiny scabs on her back side, head and neck area, and a few on her back.
I cant figure out if they are from ants, or if she's just scratched herself. I've recently tried a new shampoo wiht her (coconut verbana)..its suppose to help "shedding"...(which is not a giant problem with her, but my other dogs drop hair like crazy)...and I'm thinking maybe its a reactoin to it. i'm going back to her old shampoo and see if that dosent help.
I use frontline plus for fleas..so i know its not flea related. And she only goes outside for a min to "potty"..so...I'm not really thinking its an insect bite.
who knows...she will just have to get the once over from doc I guess. LOL
