Any guesses as to Buddy's breed?

My little guy just turned 6 in December. His doggy mom looked just like him, only a little smaller. His doggy dad looked like a spaniel mix. I got Buddy from a lady whose dogs had a litter. She seemed to think that her female was a malti-poo (which I don't think she was, although she may have had some maltese mixed in there).

Everyone always asks me what breed buddy is, because he kind of looks like he should be a specific breed. (Buddy himself thinks he's Rin Tin Tin, or at the very least, Lassie ). He's very affectionate, loves to give kisses, loves attention, and gets embarrassed when you figure out he's a big chicken. He also loves to watch t.v., especially when there's horses or animals on--he goes ape!

sorry for the humongous size--when I tried to edit them, the post didn't change so you've got King-Kong-sized Buddy!

I say Buddy is a "PappiJack" or "JackPappi"

Looks like he's got Papillon and Jack Russell

OMG maybe he's a PappiPoo or PooPappi ! (Papillon poodle )

He's cute whatever he is.

I know! Sorry about that! He's actually smaller than a spaniel; he's the size of a large cat, I guess, only longer.

He looks so cute I want to see a picture of him standing, taken sideways. Stacked, if you know what that means, like a show dog? So we can get a better look? Lovely colouring. The view is limited but I would guess English Shepherd in the head except he is too small. My sister has an English Shepherd and his head is like her girl's.

Maybe there is part border collie in there cause the look he's given is the exact face of a border collie. Not the black and white BC, the saddleback ones.

that's what we all thought, given that he goes totally ape when he sees animals on t.v. especially horses. Even if he's upstairs and hears a horse on t.v., he comes rippin` downstairs and jumps up and down in front of the t.v. like a little crazy man!

wow, I wish you could see our darker version of your buddy She looks just like him only black where yours is white. We were told by a trainer who works with Border Collies that she exhibits all of the same tendencies and she constantly tries to 'herd' the kids. I would bet yours is the same, BC mixed with pappy or malti..but he is gorgeous! (and I am only a wee bit biased)
