New Teeth??

When do a puppies teeth fall out and they grow their 'proper' ones?
Tally is 13 weeks today and I ahve noticed she looks like she has new teeth coming through at the front - but none have fallen out! I know it's possible that she's swallowed them.
So can anybody give me any facts? Is it likely these are 'milk' teeth?

A pup will start losing baby teeth between 3 & 4 mths of age. You're very likely right - she's either swallowing them, or they're falling out while she's in the yard chewing on a toy.

Phoebe had exceptionally strange baby teeth - the adult teeth came in before the baby ones fell out, so from time to time she would look like a shark with multiple rows of teeth!

Just a tip...

Keep an eye on your dog just to make sure that all of the puppy teeth do in fact fall out. If your dog is a small breed, they are more prone to retaining their puppy/milk teeth, as well as growing in their adult ones.
My little dog for example, had to have 20 baby teeth pulled at the time he was neutered, because only 6 of his baby teeth fell out on their own, and he was beginning to grow two rows of teeth in his mouth.
This can cause a lot of issues later on with plaque, tartar, and gum disease, as well as throwing off their bite. They may have trouble eating if that happens.

Just thought you might want to keep an eye on it.

When my Den-Den3 was neutered at 7mos, he had his upper baby canines pulled because the adult ones were coming in above. After they were pulled, the permanent ones moved down into place and they were fine. It's common.
