Unhappy scrached by a cat

our little dog named little bear got scrached in the mouth by our little siamese cat,the dog is just mopeing around wont hardly eat. the kitten is about 9 weeks old, the dog is 2 years old. i know the dog is hurt, i feel so bad for her, should we take little bear to vet? or will she heal on her own? she is not acting normal, she always wants to play but now she wont play or anything, what should we do?please someone anyone help!!!

i guess you have to evaluate how big the scratch is? is it infected? or is he just sore and if its in his mouth you could call the vet and ask about baby abisol (Sp) to numb the pain

Any time you or your pet get scratched by a cat, you need to go to a Dr. Take your dog to the vet right away. This is not something to fool around with.

Cat scratches can be serious and infection is a special concern. I would take your dog to the vet just to be safe.
