This the beggining of Maddie's story...Inverness had Maddie's best interest at heart, now I hope that if and when Maddie is in someone's care again that all precautions are taken to keep her safe.
She is a beautiful dog, but she is scared now, I agree with Cpietra16 it appears that Maddie is a free spirt.

Maybe Maddie is trying to find her sister, Nanuk. I hope she is re-captured soon.

Thank God.....now hopefully her owner will be able to keep her safe.

I do not mean to question or offend anyone...but how does Maddie keep getting loose???? If you know you have a doggie who will bolt, what can be done to prevent it???

PLEASE..... I am NOT trying to lay blame...just trying to figure out how a doggie can loose that many times.....

Thank's Toonces
This girl must have a whole group of guardian angels looking out for her, with all the dangers she's faced
I ask the same as HarleyBuster, how is it possible for her to constantly escape?
I also mean no offence to all the people who gave it their all to find her all these times.
Also, what happens now, will the new adoptive owners take her back??

Thanks Toonces! for the update! I beleive Maddie has a "guardian angel" looking over her! Makes me believe that she has some purpose to serve here! I have wondered to myself how she is getting away..No disrespect to anyone involved here in anyway but could they try attaching 2 collars? This way if she slips one you have the second one to rely on? I know it sounds strange but I think it works.

Oh my goodness, I was devastated to open this thread and see Maddie was gone again, now pleased she's back. I used to own a "free spirit" who ultimately we had to rehome in the country. Broke my heart, but there was no way to keep him confined - he always seemed to find a way. Not a mean bone in his body, but he was just too large a dog to let him roam free in the city. For his safety and the comfort of others. Anyhow, I sure hope someone finds the answer for this poor sweetie. She needs to relax. Actually now it sounds like my Shadow I currently own. Be calm Maddie everybody just wants the best for you.

Does anyone know how they found Maddie back around the 13th before
her last escape?
She was gone for so long as has my dog, and just wondered how she was
found. Perhaps it might give me some clues on survival of these dogs during
such a harsh winter.

I am soooo glad they caught her. Is she okay? Did she do any more damage to herself?
