June 2009 Photo Challenge - Pets & sunbeams - Pets in the sun

Can't believe June is tomorrow, but it is.

Any suggestions for June that are good for both cats and dogs?

Thx - Marko

My first thought was water....but something tells me the kitties wouldn't appreciate that.

Someone suggested last month (sorry can't remember who ) to do "Pets in the Sun" and "Sunbeams" which would work for the indoor kitties.

Good one! I like that too

Love the pets in the sun Rainbow--great suggestion.

sunbeams work for me

or we could do the colour yellow

Pets in the sun/Sunbeams has the most support so it's the theme of the month.
Merging suggestion posts now and changing the thread title.
Ok then who is posting first? Thx - Marko

Some of you will have seen this photo already, but it's my favourite picture of Charlie and he's lying in a sunbeam, so it works!

EOF, aww, cute pic of Charlie .....just makes you want to rub that fluffy belly.

Melinda, I love that pic of Brina ....there is absolutely no way either of my boys would allow me to dress them up like that.

3GirlsDad, lovely pics of your big girls.

Very sweet pics, especially the bathing suit

I am so glad to see other furkids in the sun. Ginger is not much of a sun dog but will swim. Hobo HATES getting his paws wet much less swimming but he has been following this sunbeam around the dinning room/living room practically from the day he moved in...

Nap-inducing sunbeams are the best! Aztec with his sleepy-face on:

A half-hearted stretch........

The sunlight made it quite obvious that there were no treats in the treat-mouse:

We only have four windows in my little apartment and one of the biggest ones is the fire exit and the table is next to it. the cats always sleep on the table when we were away and run when we came on home cause i didn't like them up there. well i gave up and here is one i got of serena enjoying her beam. she's such a pretty cat.

omg what a great subject for this month, these pics are all so wonderful!!

Onster, daughter was not impressed when she came outside to see what I was up to and saw her 4 legged sister wearing her bathing suit *L* made me wash it 4 times before she'd wear it again *L* the visor is a doggie one so I was safe there.

babymomma *L* not a chance of her going to live with you!! besides, you'd send her back so fast, she's a very "vocal" doggie, not barking...but talking, complaining, grumbling, I've never had a dog talk so much, and that includes our late husky with his yodels *L*
