I have read on this board and in several books that you can give your dog yogurt.
How much can i give my dog? can i give it to my cat and how much? What kind can i give them?

Don't give yogurt with artificial sweeteners in it and you have a pointer so I wouldn't worry about fat content.
Yogurt is great for inputing healthy bacteria into your dogs gut and intestine!

thanks for the help i just wanted to make sure....Gave Tracker and Mercedes yogurt tonight,Tracker loved it but Mercedes wasn't interested.

Plain, unflavoured yogurt is helpful for dogs with...ummm..excess flatulence.

You just have to watch for a bit and start them off slowly.Some cats/dogs are lactose intolerent.
My daughter left a glass with a bit of milk in it by the computer.Casper knocked it over and drank the milk. Lets just say hubby had to boil some rice for him.

My girls eat raw food and get yogurt daily. Just a large spoonful of low-fat unflavored. I assume they like it, there is never any left in the bowl.
