Sadie's arrival this evening!

Hey all you reading pet'peevers (haha)

I want to let you know that I am sitting at home anxiously awaiting a call for us to pick up our new pup Sadie from a meet location.

I'll let you all know how it turns out. If I'm away or not on very much for awhile you'll understand!

Thanks for all of your support everybody!!!

So?? So??? Is she here yet, is she here yet...?

A friend of mine just got her new Dobe puppy (from a breeder in Canada) a few days ago. She's apparently not getting much sleep - pupper has a few words to say about her crate!!

Sadie's coming home!!!!!

Carina, just curious - is that Dobie breeder in Quebec? I have one near me, and she is just outstanding. I nearly got a puppy from her, even though she has a waiting list a mile (and years) long.

It's almost 10:30 and I'm still waiting for the call.

There was another little delay...poor Sadie will be on the road almost 12 hours now the sweet dear!

I'm soooo anxious to get her home and get her safe and warm.

Apparently she's got diarrhea and is on flagyl. They did it as a precaution however as the vet indicated no parasites.

I'll keep you updated

I promise

**I LOVE Those bananas**

Hey Carina congratz for your friend and her new puppy

Aww, Luba I'd be pacing the house and worrying about little Sadie too! She's going to be SO happy to be home with you...!
Thanks for the Dobe!

LR - I can't remember the breeder's name; I'll find out when I talk to Martha next. She got a lovely male from this person (who is an excellent breeder) three years ago, and has been waiting anxiously for her little girl to get here (just like Luba!) I don't think this person has that many litters, so if the woman you know has an 8 week old litter going out the door about now, it may be...and I do think it could be around Quebec....

OK, I'll check back later for Sadie news!

It's going to be fun watching her grow up.

She just ate her breakfast (still has diarrhea*liquid too) and she
HATES her new coat with a passion LOL!

Thought you may enjoy some more pictures

She looks just like my collie Laddie that passed on many years ago! What memories!

Well she's had 3 very liquid forms of movement today *(bleck)

And I got her on some rice right now. I'm gonna ask my vet tomorrow about the flagyl, seems to be making the situation worse.

Chico the only other animal that's here according to my mom is ME! HAHAHHA

Well wAggies she loves attention and someone has obviously allowed her up on EVERYTHING so we're workin on that. She spent 1/2 her night in a crate but when she started whining like she didnt' know where she was I brought her into my room with me and she fell asleep next to me.

She tries to remember to go on the paper but so far it's been mostly the carpet and kitchen floor (good thing I didn't steam clean just yet haha!)

Her markings are almost all Collie I completely agree.

She's really so very sweet and adorable, razor teeth stage right now LOL!

Ankles, hands, hair, ears, nose you name it she's trying!!!

First vet trip today just got home

Well we went to the Vets today to see why she's been having diarrhea, so some tests are being done (hope she doesn't have parvo)

Keeping her on the Flagyl
Blending her food with some rice and cottage cheese

Hopefully it will solve in a few days

She slept with me last night, I awoke to her chewing on my hair and my ears ..... who needs to get another piercing and pay for it this gals teeth are so sharp she can do it herself.

I should open a piercing salon...anyone up for it ??? hahah!

We're guessing she was born late November or early December...We decided Dec1st/2003 her birthday (another December wAggies)

Thanks deerclan

Yah they can have cottage cheese esp pups that need to gain weight or have irritable bowels for sure
unless they're allergic to dairy it does them good

A better alternative to feed would be boiled chicken and rice - heavy on the rice. Cottage cheese is often added to fatten dogs up, and Sadie looks roly-poly enough already!!

Is it my imagination, or has she gotten still cuter in the last day??
