PUPS! foster homes needed Urgently MTL

The SPCA Monteregie just received a litter of six, six week old lab mix pups. We are looking for foster homes to take the pups for the next two weeks.

Socialization is so important at this age, we would like the foster homes to be able to take at least two pups. The foster family must have transportation to get to the SPCA Monteregie.

If you would like to foster, please contact Cindy at:cindy@spcamonteregie.com or call 514-386-5960

Here's a few of the pictures I took of the pups today!

I wish I could do it but I live in an apartment with a dog and there's no room. However, I will ask my friends and people I know well if they are interested.

I've found a foster home for all six pups (together), so for now, we won't be needing any foster homes for these guys. But if anyone does want to foster puppies or kittens in the future, please contact me...we need all the help we can get!!

So what someone can just walked into the spca and dump them?...what do u say UM....sorry I was an irresponsible pet owner OOPs can you take all these pups?????? I know some ppl that are not going to show or breed their dogs but do not neuter them. I hope I do not offend anyone by saying this, it is just why keep them intack if your not doing any of those things?

Yes, that's what this guy did, he showed up in his pickup truck with all 6 of them in a cage and he said someone dumped them at HIS place. Those poor pups were FULL of worms, I mean infested. And we just found out they also have a skin mite called Walking Dandruff. Luckily, they've been in a foster home or this could have been a disaster at the shelter.

Yesterday we recieved 5 more 7 week old pups. Apparently the mom is a Golden and the dad a Shepard x, so if anyone is looking for a cute pup, they're at the shelter!

I could never work in a shelter because I would have to save them all:sad:....but one dog 2 cats is all I can handle....all my cats I have had have been rescues...it's not always easy as you rescue their problems as well (not the animals faults..they can not help what they come with)
