Chihuahua has upset stomach, loose bowel

"LittleBit" seems to have loose bowel(with a trace of blood) and is spitting up a small amount of a whitish fluid. Her appetite seems appears normal or her desire to eat. Checked temp via rectal thermometer at 100.2(as suggested via this site-thanks) Is it possible that the chicken I cooked on the grill, which was soaked in Zesty Italian dressing could have upset her stomach so. I know the breed tends to have a nervous stomach, and she occasionally gets the runs/spits-up...could this be from being fed table scraps? Blood trace in the stool has me worried though...have seen it before, but that was almost a year ago. She seems in good spirits, but not up to her normal playfulness...Just an extremely upset stomach?

not normal

Hi DTdickens,

I am not a vet...but there is a decent chance that it is more than just an upset stomach.

First of all from all my experience with dogs and vets...table scraps
are no good for dogs...certainly this includes chicken marinated in a zesty sauce. Dogs get all they need from their dog food.

Blood in the stool is always potentially serious and if there is blood in the stool for more than one day....I'd bring the dog into a vet....

AND NEVER GIVE A DOG A CHICKEN BONE.
