They're all beautiful dogs. Smokey looks like a little sweetie...
So sorry for your loss of Ivory and Popi. It's so hard to lose them, but you must have some wonderful memories of them. |

I am so sorry for your loss of your little ones, how old were they? Smokey seems to be the sunshine in your life now, he seems to be grinning in that pic ~ very cute.

Popi was 18 years old when he passed away. Ivory was only 10 years old when she passed away.
Ivory had high sugar, high liver, high kidney, low white blood cell, high red blood cell, pancratitis, urinary tract infection, and a heart murmer. Ivory passed away from Cardiac Arrest. I don't know what caused her sugar to go up so drastically, in such a little time, unless she had already had diabetes. I was thinking it was the cortozone shot the vet gave her. I am not sure and I don't wanna blame anyone, I know I will see her again one day. Popi had bad liver and kidneys when he passed away. Smokey is a ray of light in a dark time in my life. Ivory and Popi were the reason I decided to go back to college. I wanted to give them a better life. Smokey is a good dog and I got him to stop going on the carpet, thanks to ya'lls advice. I keep him out, until he goes and give him praise when he does his business. Last edited by Ivory&Popi; December 7th, 2006 at 03:17 AM. |
