question on rodent pregnancy

hiya im new and i dont think i have put this in the right place but my rat i think she is pregnant but she has put on weight but shes quite small my mom and dad said she is proberly having a false pregnancy but i heard its rare in rats but she has had a litter before and she had nine but does any one think shes having a false pregnancy but i think she is pregnant but is just having a small litter becuase she should be having them soon if she is can someone HELP !!! thanks

help me please i am so worried

its ok im just really parrinoid she might be having s false pregnancy or a small litter shes building nests and that and sleeping alot but i just wanna ask she has had a litter be4 she had 10 babies but 1 died but about 2 hours after birth she had blood by her vagina is that just like from the birth or the after birth please sum1 help me please thanks xxxx :sad:

hi

i would take her to the vets to see if she was but mom crnt give me no money at the moment aint bin paid if she was pregnant i think she would be having them tomorrow or sunday but it any1 has got a rat and knows sum things can yu message me or write on here :sad:

I'd also find out if you can get her spayed (not sure how that works with rats) We don't really need anymore baby rats. I often see them up for adoption at the spca.:sad:

hiya just came to tell ya the vet thinks shes pregnant to how i explained her signs to him over the phone but we just have to wait and see ill tell ya if she has them cyaxxx

hey

well if its a small litter like 2,3 ,4 i will be keeping them but if its like 9 like last time i will give some to the pet shop i gave me other litter to because i know they got treated prop there

hey

yeh she is. her nipples are coming out and look sore shes getting fatter i think she's going to have them this week or begining of next week but me sister is pregnant and shes having her baby on sunday so hopefully she has them be4 sunday because im not at school for a bit i will be helping me sis with the baby but i would never neglet them i was holding the last litter when my rat sydney looked tyred so i would let her have a rest for about 30 mins and i would keep them warm in a blanket but i am really excited i look every like 3 hours to see but no babies yet but i will tell you when she does cya xx
