Dog Boarding - Vancouver BC

Question, like the title says, have to head up north for a week next month, need somewhere for him to stay.

He, is an 11 month old Shiba Inu, with a relentless play drive, but without an ounce of aggression. Big baby really, but he likes playing with big dogs, and he wants to play all day.

Don't want to kennel, have a back-up plan if it comes to that. Looking for daycare with overnight in the crate type deal if it exists?

Anywhere in the lower mainland for the right place, anybody have any good places? Ideas?

Thanks.

We use Run Free Canine Centre in Langley. Far but they are on 20 acres and they take the dogs out daily for walks and they get to romp and play with others.

Another place is also Love on a Leash. Great people.

I also have a Shiba Inu!

For dog boarding, I used TNT Kennel in Aldergrove which is a very well respected local facility and recommended by our breeder (the Lemaitres).

^They are well familiar with the Shiba breed and the runaway nature of them. There is another Shiba friend that goes there too, Rio.

For daycare/daily lodging, we used the Bark N Lounge in Langley

Dod Boarding

This may be a little late for the reply.

We left our lab at Good Dog Ranch in Port Coquitlam for a week recently. It is like a day care with overnight facility. Dogs get to socialize under supervision during the day and sleep in own bedroom/crate at night. Check this out www.gooddog.ca

Our 5 1/2 y.o. dog has never boarded before. We tried a few dog sitters just to break him in before we decided on this place.
