Dog bed
Well, I think it's time to get another bed for my little Pomeranian, she's kinda picky about the bed. She likes to lie down in the kitchen in a corner right up against the wall.
She used to have a bed but she didn't quite like it. I guess it wasn't soft enough and the top material seems to be a bit rough. I thought the material would be good as it seems to last Since she likes to lie against a wall, I don't know if I should get her an oblong type bed or more rectangular shape so it's more like the wall but more comfy. Sounds like she's getting a better bed than me that's for sure! |

my dog refuses to use a bed - so maybe yours is the same way.
mine tends to just move around a lot at night from spot to spot, floor to floor... just saying that its possible that yours might not want or adapt to a sleeping zone unless you crate at night. |

Finally my little girl settled for one of these dount beds:
http://www.bowsers.com/en/products/p32.php?CID=2&SID=1 Unlike the picture, the one I got has memory foam mattress so it's flat. Otherwise, it would drive her nuts! Got the small size and fit her perfectly, the Costco one is pretty good but too big for her. This one she fits inside just right and she likes to rest her head over the ring. I can feel with the memory foam and a layer for other soft material on top, sorta like our mattress with pillow-top, kinda fluffy but she doesn't sink into it. All the padding can be removed for washing, very soft material on the outside, she didn't have to scratch the bed for few minutes when I introduced the bed to her, sniffed for a bit and lied down. I knew this would be the one! The bed is not cheap but the materials they used and the comfort level is top rated. Last edited by htsource; October 3rd, 2011 at 10:14 PM. |

Other options
Congratulations on your new bed! Love the Bowser products, I waited and got one for my Poochies for my Birthday. Its always great though to have one of those Costco beds Handy, they are relatively inexpensive, very portable and there are those occasions- travel & "messier days" where you may not want to use the deluxe model. Even cheaper than Costco and almost as firm is the Zellers model when it goes on sale!
