First Bailey....now Beans

On January 9th, 2009, we lost our beloved Bailey. A Golden Retriever in her 14th year of wonderful happiness not only in herself but also the love and happiness she shared with all who knew her. Fortunately for her--her suffering wasn’t too prolonged. Not a day that goes by where I stop--take a moment and; remember her beautiful eyes and gentle expressions-- I

So now, it is with great sadness to also note this evening, my significant other and I just came in from the cold winter's night to bury our daughter's Golden long haired hamster into her final resting place. She passed away this evening lying quietly in her little dwelling she has so loved for 3 years. Her name was Beans.

While I realize that she was only a hamster, it truly has been a rough 3 weeks not to mention a rip roaring start to 2009!

Here are a couple of pictures of our little Golden Angels…. I do hope that they will meet each other on Rainbow Bridge.

I can only that things will get better in 2009!

(((((HUGS))))))

Its is difficult enough to lose one pet, let alone two. No matter how small.
I am so sorry for your loss...

I'm sorry for your loss of both Bailey and Beans... and a special for your daughter.

Hamsters have their own personalities just like dogs and cats do...so Beans wasn't 'just a hamster', she was Beans!! And she was beautiful!

I am so sorry for the loss of your pets, losing one is hard enough but two so close together must be devastating I hope the year ahead is better for your family.

Thank Toonces...as luck would have it, I noticed yesterday that my big boy Gryphon has shown a "weird" blue color in the iris of his left eye. I am puzzled by this not to mention very concerned. A visit to the vet will be much more sooner than expected.

So far--we've had a rip roarin' 2009

I'm so sorry for your losses.

We too had a Golden Retriever named Bailey. He was blonde and beautiful. Unfortunately due to medical complications with a story that is far too long to tell, we had to let our beautiful boy go to what is hopefully a better place on Dec 12/08. Bailey was only 7 months old.

I hope that our Baileys have met in puppy heaven!

Sorry

I'm so sorry for your losses. I know it is difficult. I just lost my best friend Monty. He had to be put to sleep earlier today. He was 14.5 years old. I hope you and your family are doing alright after losing 2 beloved pets.

re bailey and beans

Im sorry to hear about two lovely souls that departed the same day,
no matter the size, they are wonderful to have and hold in this life,
every creature has a wonderful tale, but a sad ending too,
bailey was beautiful, but beans was so sweet.
and they will be at that rainbow foever.
memories live on in our lifes and our hearts.
bless them both
