I never owned one but I had a GSD as a friend when I was young ! Friends of my parents had one, didn't had any kids . So i would always play with him (Rex) when I was there. I was so sad when they moved away, I didn't care if I didn't see them again, I was sad because I couldn't see Rex anymore. BTW , I love your dog's names.

I too love the breed. We have a GSD cross but she looks and acts like a purebred. She's just a wee bit on the small side, but other than that everything is the same. I love their keen intelligence, their loyalty, their sweetness. My favorite is when Mileva sees us and puts on her "happy ears", which is when she lays them down. She just looks sooo sweet. Here is a picture of my baby:

Yours are beautiful, btw. I love the dark coloring on the one.

My dog, Dracko, is a GSD. He was actually born at the Humane Society. The mother was there and was pregnant.

I couldn't imagine having any other breed! Though he can be a handful at times (doesn't much care for strangers but is great with kids and other animals) he is my buddy.

I have always had a great admiration for GSD's,we don't see enough of them though.
About 35 yrs ago(yeah,I'm old )GSD's were a very popular breed at least in Sweden,I had a GSD/Chow X,we could never have found a better dog:love:

Wow Santos, what beautiful dogs!

Ouch Chico2, I must be ancient then, but very immature for my age

Tia is my first GSD and, even though she's at a that rambunctious puppy (ie. let's run full charge at mom and see if we can knock her on her butt 'cause it's really funny) stage, I love her more each day!

Here's another picture of our GSD Summit. Actually she looks quite a bit like Dracko and 100%doglover's dogs.
