A Couple From Today

always an abundance of deer

and about 15 - 20 turkeys cross our path. I lost count after 10 or so, and they just kept on coming

Don't know what I would do if Lukka and I couldn't go outside of the city for our hikes. Just seeing all the wildlife in the woods is a treat.

I can't believe these turkeys prancing around so close to Thanksgiving . Have they no fear??? .

Lovely pics Lukka'sma. And what was Lukka's reaction upon seeing the deer and the turkeys?

Lukka has adapted well to the deer and turkeys, we see them almost every day. She sits quietly for me to photograph the rabbits if we are severl feet away (at least 20), I don't know about taking her closer......I just don't do it. Coyote and fox get her a bit wound up. The raccoons are always in the trees having a morning nap so I am the only one that see's them. I have several tags on Lukka's collar that jingle when we go through the woods mainly because I don't want to suddenly come upon the little woodland creatures and have Lukka frighten them

Nice pics, Lukka'sma! We get lots of deer and turkeys, too, but the eight nudniks bark too crazily for successful photography unless hazel can snap the shutter really, really quickly!
