cat urine smell remover
What is the best product for removing the smell, I'll pay big bucks if it works. I need to invest in a black light as well. The pressure is finally getting to one (or more) of the boys. Goose sprayed the wall right in front of me the other night. I hollered a string of profanities, he was quite startled . I laugh, but it's really a drag, my nose precedes me into every room. In fact, I had no idea my sense of smell was so acute

I have used the vinegar/baking soda/peroxide here and it seems to work. It's on the first site on the list. It takes a while to do the steps but it's worth it. It worked for me in a carrier and a floor.

I've been using a combo of the Febreeze spray for pet urine (I think it was about $12 at Canadian Tire) baking soda, and air freshener... it's working so far!

I have a large bottle of Natures Miracle and it's supposed to remove odors and keep the cat from going back to that spot.
It removes odors, but does not keep cats from going back. With the Feli-Way,it's only the odd time I find a a little spray-spot and although I clean it with NM,he still goes back there. I am going to try the home-remedies.

For commercial products, I've heard great things about X-O and Anti-Icky-Poo, although I have no personal experience with either. Also, after the odor is gone, you may want to spray the spot with Feliway to prevent future "use" of that area. Sometimes removing the smell isn't enough, the cat may just think that particular location is ideal for getting whatever point he's trying to make across to it's housemates.

We've had good luck with Nature's Miracle removing odour.
