I love his color, they are a sweet breed aren't they? I am a little bias tho. They sure do have the look down pat, it makes it very hard to resist.

Riker is very stunning. I just love the color of him.
Hope he got a cookie for being so sweet and letting you see how cute he could act when you came home.

Riker is a handsome boy. How old?

I went to a camera store to figure out what digital camera would be best. You have to decide what zoom you need, shutter speed, size and what you are going to use the camera for - inside, action etc. Digital cameras are great fun, good luck finding the right one for you and look forward to more pics.

thanks all for the nice comments about him and pantera. His colour is a little lighter, i think the flash may have made him a tad darker/shinier than he is. He was a rescue for me and my hubby when the AZ golden org had him over at petsmart with the other dogs he was the only one not going up to anyone just sat under the table on the floor. Apparently they found him on the streets stray, dirty, matted, and afraid of everything.Sad thing is he had a name tag, no phone number, his elbows were all hairless and callused. They figured from his distrust and fear he may have been abused somehow.Anyway, I took one look, ended up sitting on the floor with him, his head found its way to my lap and we sat like that for an hour, then decided later to adopt him. I guess I should have posted this on the other thread, although all animals I have had have been rescues, humane society or somewhere.

They have guessed him at 3,4, and 5 this was last summer, when i take him to the vets in a month i am going to see what she says. His coat has come in nice and shiny though I have him on a good diet, and he is brushed nightly, exercised, all that stuff Hes come a long way, still gets spooked the odd time, but total 180, is playful, a cuddler to the tee, smart as a whip, and a definite part of the family.

As far as camera, I will be wanting to take both indoor, and some outdoor, action shots, I have researched a fair bit, so many out there, guess i will have to research a bit more.
