Czeci had bolted out the front door with another whippet but the other one came back....Czeci kept on going. It was a loooong search and she was found just in the nick of time. The night she was found temps were around -8C and snowing...I am pretty certain she wouldn't have made it through that night. The posters were key and in the end they saved her life. There were two sightings phoned in late that night and the owners and the one of the couples that phoned in a sighting were able to corner her. The poor girl was terribly frightened, cold, soaking wet, very thin and paws bleeding. Thank goodness for random ppl phoning in sightings!

As for her color, I am not certain about white being rare. I am a greyhound owner that volunteered in the search but I actually don't know much about Whippets. She sure is a beautiful girl.
