Question i have a cocker spaniel and i was wondering do they.......

well his ears they have a bad oder coming from them not all the time but most of the time and i was wondering if that is normal?

No, it is NOT normal for a dog to have a bad odour coming from his ears.

Many floppy-eared breeds like spaniels do get ear infections, which not only smell bad, but are very painful for the dog. If you have ever had an ear infection, you know what it feels like.

Your dog needs to be seen by a vet.

Hi, I have a Dalmation, another floppy eared breed (though not like cockers) He constantly gets ear infections...We buy these drops prescribed by our vet...It's called Surolan and Ottomax..These infections are painful and our Dal has a little scar on the side of his face from scratching (when we were less aware)
My suggestion is to get him checked
