There are actually no bugs I even slightly react to like these House Centepedes,I've learned to live with spiders,I always think of Charlotte the spider
even earwigs and anything else,but these guys turn me into a shivering big coward Vinnie will chase them and play like cats do and eventually kill them,but not eat them Rocky and Chico stay away from them....and me,I'll be up on the table I kind of like Tarantulas as long as they are not on me...

Since I don't have any spray-glue,hairspray works too,they get kind of stiff,then I throw the big phonebook on them,they won't know what hit them
No animal-cruelty involved

I saw one on the kitchen floor once,he was drinkng water from a little spill on the floor,I let him have his drink,then I threw the book at him,while standing on a chair

Ick.
The centipedes we have here in New Mexico don't look like any of those photos. They aren't black and thick like that one wrapped around the boy's wrist, and they aren't anything at all like the ones Luba posted. They are kind of red and black and have shorter legs than Luba's- and they are loooong. Maybe they are millipedes and I'm just calling them the wrong thing. Anyway one time I was getting ready to get into the shower, and I started pulling a clump of hair out of the drain, and then the "hair" curled back and bit me on the thumb!!!!!(felt like a sting). IT WAS ONE OF THOSE!!!! I drowned it in hairspray (that's all I had) and then called the nurse hotline at the hospital and asked if I should be worried, since they are poisonous. She said no, not enough poison to do me much harm. I check the drain for movement before I go pulling out hair these days...
