Anyone into the Twilight Series?

Serioulsy, Its like Book Crack. I HAVE to have my Twilight Fix...Like all day.

I curse the day I bought Twilight, because now, It's literally, ALL I want to do. I wake up wanting to read! Its ridiculous!

I read Twilight in a day and a half and then went and saw the movie. The movie is...Okay... Doesnt follow REAL closely, but its still good.
I'm reading New Moon right now, and I'm getting kind of worried! Lol

Anyone else addicted?

I just picked up the book to read last night. I promised a student in my class that I would read them. She lent me Twilight and The Host to read over the break. So far it seems interesting. I'm about 100 pages in.

I just read her "first book for adults" called the Host, and absolutely loved it. Mrs. Schwinn just finished it (after cursing me several times for letting her read it...she wasn't getting any sleep not being able to put it down). We just found out she's the same author of Twilight, and now Mrs. Schwinn has all the books in the series.

So I finished Twilight a few days ago. Honestly, I really didn't enjoy it. It took almost 400 pages for it to get interesting. There is only so many times I could read about Edward being dangerous or so beautiful. And really, the guy's stalking Bella! He waits for her after class, watches her while she sleeps, and waits outside her house to pick her up in the morning. He snaps at her frequently and gets easily jealous. Not a healthy relationship by any standard. I can understand the appeal for teens - a dark, dangerous and handsome young man falling for the modest, intelligent, new girl in town.

I'm hoping The Host is better. In the meantime, I'll be reading A Thousand Splendid Suns first. I need some more depth.

I have not read the host yet but plan too, I do agree with Kanis, maybe not a good thing for teens as I have a teen myself and they are influenced easy but it depends of the kid, I also got sick of hearing about how beautiful he was and so on but it did not stop me from reading all 4 books

I read The Host before I read Twilight. I loved it as well.

She is a very interesting author. My DF's parents are extremely religious and swore never to see Twilight due to the vampires in it, But then come to find out Stephanie Meyer is Mormon... Makes me happy that I'm not the only open-minded person in this world!
