This is my super-diva cat, Nala. also known as Miss January. we were shocked when she won the Friskies photo contest last year - this is still one of my favorite photos of her.

Hi Chico2, your Vinnie is lovely. Yes Restaurant Cat does live at the restaurant, anyone visiting Tio Pepe overlooking Horse Shoe Beach during the day will have seen this Cat. He is extremely friendly and he eats very well. If you notice the tip of his left ear is missing. There is a programme here on the island where a charitable group who go by the name of BFAB (http://www.bfab.bm/) go out and trap feral Cats, test them for all of the usual viruses etc., if they get a clean bill of health, they spay them and if they are adults they are returned from whence they came to live out their days in familiar surroundings. If they are Kittens they are adopted out. The clipped ear indicates that this is a BFAB Cat, he has a clean bill of health and has been spayed. I believe he was adopted by the restaurant owner.

James,it's great to hear there is an organisation like BFAB,I wish more cities would take the initiative to do the same,the only solution to feral overpopulation is a spay/neuter program.Unfortunately we have often severe winters and cats will suffer terribly.But we also have wonderful rescue people(Lucky Rescue etc..) who do their best to help as many as they can.
Our local Humane Society will s/n ferals and put them back where they came from,but we do not have a feral colony,it's mostly single cats.
My Vinnie was lucky to have been found by some cat-lover friends of mine when he was a baby and I was lucky enough to get him..he is an absolute angel!
