I know, I sing it like Chis Farley in Black sheep.. Fat guy in a little coat...

So Pablo got his stitches out today... We weighed him while we were there because we were so curious...

Keep in mind, Leila's at least 10lbs heavier than Pablo.. She's the big girly here...

So Pablo..

weighed in...

at...

142!!!!

And then he came home and got a visit from Luckypenny. Luckypenny got repeatedly mauled. Here's a sample:

Aww,lucky Luckypenny, those dogs will be so beautiful when they have all their hair back, not that they don't already are.
I've never seen a black/white Newf,I have only met 2 and they were black.
Do they have any healthproblems??

No. No health problems. Leila gets a little sore at the back end, but that, IMO, will disappear with exercise and glucosamine. She's just so undermusculated. Pablo gets sore on his front paws a little, but IMO, that too, is just too much exercise all of a sudden.

Awwww Luckypenny you are soooo lucky I wanna meet the tewfs too

Chico, black and white Newfs are no different health wise than black newfs. They are recognized and everything, they are called landseers.

I think they are getting better. The newfs are opening up, and they're also getting shiny and healthy with all the supps, good food and exercise they're getting. I mean, Leila's head just keeps getting shinier and shinier, and both of their coats are getting softer...

They definetly look better,Leila has a wonderful face, made for loving

Hunters owner,I did not think black/white would mean healthproblems.I just have not seen one before
I love to see them get new owners soon, but I also love to see them in their own hairy glory, before they leave us(Prin)

Ok, sorry Chico, I wasn't sure if you meant that or not. But you know some breeds that have different colours (like white schnauzers, etc.) may have health problems associated with it, so I just wanted to clarify...lol

I thought it was good to clarify too.

Today, I'm a bad fostermommy. Pablo's collar kept his neck folds closed and now he's all raw. So he and Leila switched collars for a bit to let him air out. He's... metronewfual.

*'staying alive' plays*

Boo: What's that? Does it hurt?

Ooooo, I think all that touching the other night has helped Boo and Pablo bond .

Hope Pablo's neck heals up quick, poor guy! for him.

Leila is looking very lovely.

Sigh, if only there was room here in my house for twefs  ....

Thank's anyway for claryfying!!

I forgot the touching pics...

Boo got fed up with not having a sofa, so he just got on top of Pablo's arm...

And Pablo, still starved for attention, interrupts the man's time with Boo.

So the man takes advantage of the situation..

And Boo pretends he finds it all lame...

Leila sounded almost like a tiger during that tug of war!

I love that Boo will interact with them like that now and touching is allowed. I am not sure if I remember any pics with Jemma touching them. Does she allow it, too?

Ooooh good for Boo and Pablo, that is so great His leg up on Pablo made me lol
and Pablo letting you "talk" for him, that was hilarious, he really don't care eh?

Leila, you go girl, stashing your toys like that, that is what Cassie does and Hunter knows which ones are off limits

I love the Leila tug video. It is so cool to see their playful sides beginning to come out and I can't believe how shiny their heads are now and the eyes are so much brighter .
It is so amazing what a little fun and love can do .

Aw, they're just soooo beautiful. I keep trying to convince hubby with one great big dog in the house already, would sir Bear notice two more? Hubby says no, but I'm workin on it....lol

We were bored at work one night, so I played the Pablo snoring video over the station loudspeakers....highly entertaining since the Captain couldn't figure out who was snoring so loud. Oh, the trouble we get into when we're bored at work!
