Ohhhhh what a night!

Well, we just got home from our date night. It was fantastic!
We went to a place in South Calgary called Halo, if you live in or around Calgary and have never been, it's amazingly good.
We had Ceasars, the best I've ever had, and we had a starter of Calamari, which was sooo good. For dinner we had a dish called "Blessed Bassa", a bassa fillet blackened with spices and served with a mango salsa, lemon roasted potatoes, and roasted vegies. Then for dessert I had a "Hyper Monkey", not really a dessert it's a drink, a frappaccino with alcohol, very very tasty!
Then afterwards we made our way down to the Saddledome, for the Buble concert, which was worth all these months of waiting. The opening act, Naturally 7 from New York, absolutely blew me away. They are an accapella (sp?) group and they were fantastic. I enjoyed them almost as much as I enjoyed Buble.
Buble, was great, and much to my surprise he has a wicked sense of humor. He was also very gracious, thanking everyone for sharing their time with him and so on. He did a wonderful encore that included three songs.
It was such a splendid evening I didn't want it to end.
