I love the purple finches And they sing pretty, too--both the males and the females--in summer.

Aww Hazel,love the pics,I too get most of those birds,except the Purple Finch and my suet is always gone in a couple of hours.
Thank you,I love looking at birdie-pics,the deer was an added bonus

If the deer didn't get the dogs a'barkin' in close quarters, I consider them a bonus, too! I love looking at them...I just hate the ringing in my ears afterwards from the Pack sending up the alarm about those Sinister Does

Wow! Quite a variety of little nesters Hazel.

Blue Jays are my favorite and I especially love the last bird (uhmmm Doe!)

So was the camera set up on a tripod? The pictures look so crisp and clear.

Lil Belle tried the tripod, but we couldn't get it adjusted low enough for her to see through the viewfinder! We did turn the vibration reduction feature on for the lens, though Worked like a charm.
