Then we stop and meet all the loose dogs that belong to irresponsible owners that let them roam..


Then we pick up Lil' bear on the way


Then we head out again.


Then we drop in to get kacee on the way

On the road again.

Chico, Kacee is a neglected dog (as you may be able to tell from the pic of me picking her up) in my community that I have been takeing for walks/taking care of for a few years now. She is almost 10 years old but still goes like a puppy! Somedays kacee spends the day at my house with keely and I .. I really do think of her as *My* dog.

Ive been walking little bear since I was ten years old.. So about 6 years now.
He gets good treatment but we have been battling with his weight for as long as I can remember. His owner is a widow whom could no longer get him out for walks when her husband died because she just cant handle him as she is getting up there in age and has been having medical problems.

I love em' both like my own

Babymomma great photos of your gals / guys. I am impressed that you walk three of them at a time AND take pic's. I have trouble just walking with Sasha and trying to photograph her.

It gets hectic sometimes with the three of them But its normally pretty easy to multi task while walking them because they are pretty well behaved.. Although it dd take alot of practise!

What a GREAT way to spend a Saturday

Can't imagine why people get dogs and don't want to go out and take advantage of such a beautiful day and beautiful spot to walk their own dogs. How nice of you to take them out though I am sure you LOVE the company

Oh yes she gets reeeaaally excited ! honestly, I probably enjoy it more then the dogs do Thats just me I guess :P

I have a vid from last winter of me going in to get kacee..She only acts like it when I come in the driveway. She doesnt even get the least bit excited to see her owners:sad: . Poor thing! Its heart breaking when i hve to bring her back and chain her on again. I can hear her whiney bark all the way home.

Thank goodness Kacee has you as her "adopted" mom . She is looking great.

And Bear must get so excited when you come to visit knowing he is going for an adventure .

Do you have any worries about them being offleash in the woods?

BM,is that poor dog never inside the house
She certainly is happy to see you,I just hate to see a chained up dog,especially in the winter,stupid people:sad:
At least with you caring,she gets some relief

That video is just heartbreaking, I hate to see dogs chained up like that:sad:.

That poor pup just wants to be loved and to be with somebody. I can imagine how heartbreaking it must be when you have to say goodbye when you are done your walks.

Bear barks ALOT when I go to pick him up..Hes very impatient with me if i stoip to chat with his momma!


I dont worry at all actually. All three have excellent recall and keely nor bear ever goes too far ahead.. Kacee is allowed to go where she wants even out in the woods because I trust her 1000000000 percent that she will come back.

Of course there are ALWAYS risks involved when letting any dog offleash, Anywhere.. but I think those smal risks shouldnt stop them from gettng their freedom and being allowed to just be a dog and sniff what they want when they want.

I dont worry about prey animals because There is a moose fence surrounding all the land (About 200-250 acres) that keeps out the larger animals such as bears, moose etc.

The only active animals are 2 foxes and the small critters such as bunnies. NO coyotes have ever been spotted (Nor have any tracks or anything) So its a pretty safe area... Bear could care less about chasing critters and kacee dont.. And Keely has a solid stay, and it has been tested so she doesnt chase after them.

I dont worry about the foxes because keely is never too far from me and they live on the other farm road. Plus kacee is extremly protective of all three of us


Oh and Kacee Is allowed in the basement If its a REALLY cold night of if itheres a storm..

The reason for the actual chain though is because nothing else can keep her on. TRUST me.. I even have one of those chains Out back for when she comes up here and she needs to be tethered (which rarely happens, but it does).. She even chews thru those wire tieouts with the plastic coating!.
