curious about dog books..

Hello everyone..
Has anyone ever read The dog whisperer or The Puppy whisperer by Paul Owens? i saw it on a shelf in the pet store and i was curious if its any good?
I was look for a puppy/dog training book. Tips and ideas and stories type thing. Anyone recommend these books or know of good ones to suggest?

After You Get Your Puppy by Ian Dunbar is always one I recommend to puppy owners .
