I think instead of paying to post, people should have the option of donating a percentage of the sale price to a rescue of your choice.
However, the only way that would work is on the honour system. Say for instance you post your item and get it sold through PM...then the seller should be able to come back on a post a closing post indicating the item was sold, and 10% went to X foundation.
