Aslan, I'm not sure what my next one will be or where, I am thinking of a small scroll with my sons names, I have some time to think about it because hubby is getting the next tattoo.

The artist did an amazing job. I can't remember if you had said so last time, but did you use any particular picture of a pup you know or knew?

Actually it was a combination of pictures, the idea came from a tribute I found online, it was a Pit with one wing coming down infront of it with the saying " In Memory of All Pitbulls killed by ignorance and fear". I originally wanted fear instead of ignorance on my tat, but after some thought, fear can sometimes be caused by ignorance so I went with ignorance. Also, someone else in my town had a tat that said something about Pits and Fear and I wanted mine to be original.
I also had a picture of Jersey girl that I took for him to use and he also had a pic of a Pit from a book of dogs he had, so basically he referred to all resources forementioned.

Craig, is an unbelieveable artist, his portfolio is nothing but stunning artwork.
Portraits and animals are his fortay, but everything he does turns out amazing. He is going to do my husbands Pit tat, which is very different from mine, and he's also going to do my son's Heath Ledger as the Joker tat. He is "so stoked" to do that one...his words not mine lol.

Thanks everyone for the nice replies

How beautiful is that! A beautiful person carrying a beautiful message. Nothing like making a statement in a forever way! Good for you!

I am certain that you will get many comments - both good and of course 'ignorant'.

You are a person of action!

Yes I get many comments-both good and of course 'ignorant', and even downright friggin' rude!

That a girl! You have guts. You will touch someone somewhere which will make them aware and think. It is a domino effect. You have made a difference.

Personally I love the tatoo. The message is strong and heart wrenching. Heck - it makes me think and I actually love these dogs. (had a X for 11 years who passed of old age at 15). He embrassed all animals, and was terribly gentle. Due to being shot and beaten by a man - he was never a 'fan' of the male gender....who could blame him.

So your tatoo touches me personally. Thank you.

Awesome tattoo!!! That is really nice work, and of course the message is important too.

While I've never owned a bully breed myself, ever single one I've ever had the pleasure of meeting was nothing but a big wiggle butt! Although a couple of them had tails that would leave welts because they wag them so hard. LOL

LMAO Kandy, my Abby has one of those tails. Sometimes I come home and she ends up breaking the tip of her tail open from wagging so hard and hitting it on a wall. She leaves blood splatter from the baseboard all the way up to over 5 ft.
I don't always get it cleaned up right away when it happens, and then someone will come over and say my house looks like a homicide scene.

Her tail has left huge bruises on me, so I call them my 'luv marks' lmao.
